Northwest RiverPartners is an alliance of river users that advocates for a shared river system that supports fish, commerce, agriculture, recreation and hydropower along the Columbia and Snake rivers. We help them engage the public in this story of the bounty these rivers provide for our Northwest way of life.
We created these videos, along with a range of materials for regional utilities to use on their own.
Hydropower in an important resource to the Pacific Northwest energy mix that often goes unnoticed. Building a presence in the media, through both earned news coverage and advertorials, enhanced the public’s understanding of the issues and ultimately elevated public acceptance of hydropower as a valuable contributor to our region.
After several years of declining favorability, the research revealed statistically significant gains after just six months of running the campaign.
