Two years ago, we took a cluster of companies including restaurants, real estate and a hotel in Pacific City, Oregon and created the marketing umbrella “Pacific City: Your Little Beach Town,” which enables them to live together under one brand. As an extension of that process, we have now created a social media campaign on Facebook with the goal to bring the charm and unique qualities of this town to the public through both old and new enthusiasts of this beach destination. Within just a couple months, the fan base has grown to over 1,500 and is increasing weekly. Facebook fans of Pacific City are posting positive photos and comments daily and interacting with any and all information our team is putting on the page. The Pacific City Facebook page is truly an example of brand enthusiasts at work and we’re excited to explore the future possibilities for this online campaign.
